Folk, Farm and Country Art by Bruce L. Carter
Bruce L. Carter is a self taught artist living and working on a homestead farm in Central Illinois. Surrounded by corn fields and caring for chickens, hogs and calves, his work is influenced by the farm and it's quiet life. There is a note of whimsy and folk art is most of his work.
Each piece is an original work influenced by the folk art traditions of the past. Pieces are pen and ink hand colored like historic books and prints to get a vintage feel.
Feel free to browse through the gallery and read the 'Farm Blog'. New pieces are added all the time.
